Our Packing Plants Australian Premium Brands is supplied by our three group-owned plants.
Each plant has HACCP programsapproved by the Australian Quarantine Inspection Service (AQIS) and by USDA's Food Safety and Inspection Service.
Collectively the plants slaughter approximately 14 thousand head per week. Each is state of the art and employs processing techniques and technology that enables the delivery of the highest quality graded beef / programs, trimmed to exacting specifications.
Each plant's slaughter and fabrication operations are fully integrated with the plant's HACCP procedures. The result is ultra clean beef with exceptional workmanship.

Located near Toowoomba west of Brisbane, Queensland, the Oakey Abattoir is a state of the art processing facility. Oakey specializes in premium quality grain fed beef, but also produces top quality grass fed beef drawn from prime New South Wales and Queensland cattle areas, as well as high quality tallow, gelbone and meat & bone meal.
The Wingham Abattoir accesses prime New South Wales and Victorian cattle areas and produces both high quality grassfed and grain fed beef. Wingham has been extensively upgraded and production has been increased to meet greater demand. Wingham not only holds US accreditation but also the European Union, Halal and Certified Organic accreditation.

The Mackay Abattoir is located in the middle of the prime central Queensland cattle area. Mackay specializes in high quality chilled grass fed beef and was one of the first Australian production facilities to be certified for Organic beef production. Borthwick processing capacity has been expanded significantly to meet increasing demand and to provide further value adding capacity.
